We’re having a contest to celebrate our fabulous Last Thursday Poetry Series at Middletown Township Public Library. Each week during April (National Poetry Month, 2009) I’ll add a selection of poems by poets featured from March, 2007 – March 2009. You can vote for your favorite here on the blog, or in the library – the winning poet will be announced each Thursday, and new poems will be displayed.

Our four favorite poets will be invited to read at the Last Thursday reading during National Poetry Month, 2010.

Middletown Township Public Library is in one of the most beautiful parts of New Jersey, close to the shore, close to New York, and home to artists, musicians, writers, and yes, poets.  Join us at 7:00 pm on the last Thursday of every month to share poetry and good company.  http://mtpl.org
